Thrift Store Discounts
Besides offering thoughtfully researched and respectable pricing on items, The Arc of Hanover Thrift Store also has several different discount programs. We are grateful to be able to extend some extra savings back into sectors of our community that give and have given so much.
Military
10 percent discount to all military personnel -- past and present -- every Store day. Show your military ID at the register.
First Responders
10 percent discount to all first responders -- past and present -- every Store day. Present your identification at the register.
Teachers
10 percent discount to all teachers -- currently serving -- every Store day. Show your school/district identification badge to receive the discount.
Seniors
10 percent discount for Seniors -- age 65+ -- on Tuesdays only. Show your driver's license or other valid form of identification with your age to receive the discount.
Medical Supply/Equipment
We offer to everyone the one free medical supply item or piece of medical equipment discount every Store day. If you have need beyond one item or if you are facing an emergency situation, please call the Store -- (804) 798-2400 (PRESS 2) -- and ask to speak with Store Manager, Kim Thompson, or Executive Director, Stacey Murrell.
